Verizon of all companies has created an awesome site where you can upload your photo and direct your own action movie where you are the star. Sure the video isn’t the best and they distort your head-shot a little, but all in all it is one of the best virtual renderings I have seen in a long while. Definitely check it out and create your own movie. When you do Verizon will say it will take up to 24 hours for your movie to be ready…mine took about an hour. Want to see me in the movies? So why is Verizon doing this? Well first off it is a great viral marketing campaign that will surely take off, this goes way beyond putting your head on top a singing monkey. Secondly, they are trying to push the Verizon Broadband, as in the "Power of Verizon Broadband can entertain you in ways you never dreamed possible". Well I wouldn’t go that far but it still is a very cool site.
Oh man…so I was on TC and they talked about this game kdice, which is part Risk and part craps or maybe Yahtzee!, either way it is extremely addicting. The reason why I like it so much is that it seems like a mindless game but the more you play it the more you realize that in order to actually win you need to out maneuver and out play everyone else via better strategy.
